1) Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use the App and comply with applicable laws.
2) Account Registration and Security
- Accurate information: you may need to provide name, username, and email.
- Security: you are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account.
3) License and App Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4) User Content
You may input or upload content such as brew parameters, notes, and images ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to operate the App and perform the actions you request.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to provide your User Content.
5) Optional Processing Features (Including AI-Assisted Features)
Some features may process text or images you choose to upload to generate outputs such as insights or recommendations. You control whether to use these features. Details about information handling are described in the Privacy Policy (provided separately).
6) Acceptable Use
- Do not upload or generate illegal content.
- Do not harass, threaten, or exploit others.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access or bypass security.
- Do not upload malware.
7) Intellectual Property
The App and its contents are owned by Moerio Team or its licensors. Except for the limited license granted above, no rights are granted to you.
8) Third-Party Services
The App may interoperate with third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services or their terms.
9) Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy (provided separately).
10) Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Moerio helps you track and refine coffee brewing; it does not guarantee outcomes.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moerio Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to Moerio Team for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or USD $50 if you paid nothing).
12) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Moerio Team from claims arising from your User Content, your use of the App, or violation of these terms.
13) Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the App and users.
14) Changes to the App or Terms
We may update the App or modify these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
15) Apple App Store Additional Terms (iOS)
- This Agreement is between you and Moerio Team, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- Moerio Team (not Apple) is responsible for addressing claims relating to the App.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce these terms against you.
16) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
To the extent permitted by law, these terms are governed by the laws of Moerio Team’s principal place of business. Except where prohibited by law, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration institution, conducted in English, by a single arbitrator.
17) Miscellaneous
- Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
- Assignment: you may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign as part of a corporate transaction.
- Entire agreement: these terms are the entire agreement regarding the App.
